Fire Damage Mitigation Process

Anytime Restoration’s specially trained experts follow the best mitigation procedures in the industry.

Contact

Contact Anytime Restoration as soon as you can. We dispatch your name phone #, location to our project managers. They quickly call you and set up a time, to assess your situation.

Assessment

The project manager assesses the situation to determine the extent of the damage. You and the project manager identify a plan going forward.

Secure the Building

In many cases, fire damage leaves the building open to the elements, animals and people. We secure the building before the firefighters leave. If needed, doors, windows and other openings are boarded up and the roof is covered by tarps.

Water Damage Mitigation

If there is water damage present, this step is needed. Our professionals extract water and completely dry the structure. We treat affected areas with an antimicrobial solution to prevent mold and mildew.

Clean Up

Cleanup entails removing smoke odor, removing soot, and ash. We also sort though the affected contents to determine what can be restored and what cannot be restored. Both the restorable items and non-restorable items are inventoried with photographs and itemized lists.

Contents

Restorable contents are cleaned, deodorized and sanitized at our facility.

Restoration

Although each situation is unique, the basic restoration steps follow. The building structure is restored. HVAC and electrical work is completed. Drywall is hung. Walls are painted. Cabinets and appliances are set in place. Bathroom fixtures are installed. Flooring is laid.  All required inspections are passed. Finally, the cleaned contents are brought back.
